Nurse Practitioners can practice autonomously in some states however, some do require that you have a collaborative physician.
Currently there are 47 states that require Physician Assistants to have a collaborative agreement with a medical doctor.
All registered nurses must have a collaborative physician to perform treatments for their patients or clients. In most states RN's can do a variety of treatments.
LPN's can own and operate a variety of treatment centers. IV Therapy/Infusion, Botox and Dermal Fillers, Laser Treatments. All LPN's require supervision from a medical doctor as well as Good Faith Exams.
In some states estheticians can legally do injectables such as Botox and even laser treatments if they have the certifications and licensing.
Certain states allow for laser technicians who have been properly trained and attained certification to perform laser treatments. All Laser techs will need a supervising physician.
